Chamber Committees

Liverpool is the Place:

Colleen Gunnip, Chairperson, 1st Ward Councilor, Town of Salina, 315-652-5029, colleen.gunnip@gmail.com, Liverpool is the Place (LITP) is a sub-committee of the Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of LITP is to initiate and present cultural events, encourage sponsorship of these events, and to raise funds for programming. To bring together all ages and people of varied interest to the community of Greater Liverpool. LITP runs the summer concert series in Johnson Park.

Membership Committee
Anita Leitgeb, Chairperson, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Anita.Leitgeb@chase.com, 652-4607. The mission of the Member Services Committee is to enhance the member services of The Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, Inc., to better promote business in the community. Reviewing and expanding of current member programs and services. Implement member retention programs and recruit new members. Mentor new members, attend Ribbon Cuttings, assist in greeting guest and working the registration areas at Chamber functions. Plan and develop Social Activities of the chamber.

The Golf Committee

Although mother nature was not kind to us, the 2010 golf tournament was a huge success.
We had a record number of teams, sponsors, and committee members. Sponsorships available for the 2011 event include: Corporate, Major, Beverage Cart, Putting Contest, and Tee/Green Signage. 
 
Committee members include: Matt Chetney, Chairperson, Laura Pantaleo, Verizon Wireless, Chris Moreland, McKenzie Realty, Laura Ranger, Losi & Ranger CPA’s, Tim Smith, Smile Therapy, Kathy Harter, Junior Achievement, Robin Pinkiert, Logos and Image Anywhere, Dr. Tom Conley, Conley Chiropractic, Mark Cardone, Brookline Development, and Renee Scherer, Presentations Plus.
 
We hope to have another record number of teams in 2011 so get your registration forms in early. Check the website for more information.

Government Affairs:
This committee will relay information about changes in regulations, laws, ordinances, etc. to the Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce Members. Members of the committee will attend or retrieve information from the Village and towns of Liverpool, Clay, and Salina and from the County and State. This information is to keep the busy businesspersons in our community informed. This committee is strictly for information gathering.


Treasure Hunt:

Every Year this event has been fun for members, given a great deal of visibility to our local Business community.  This has been a fun committee for the past 5 years.  It is a committee that meets year round...but with the majority of meetings concentrated during February - July.  Candace Edwards, Huntington Learning Center is the Chair.

The Training for Business Growth:

 Chaired by Paula Behm, Careers by Design. (478-5675 pbehm@twcny.rr.com) The mission of the Training for Business Growth Committee is to offer professional development learning opportunities for current and prospective chamber members and their employees that will help their business prosper, grow to the fullest potential and make the communities they serve stronger. Members: Lucretia Hudzinski, Chamber Director, Angela Stivers, M & T Bank, Jill Youngs, Liverpool Library, and Anthony Carangelo, The Growth Coach.
 

Directory/Newsletter Committee/Website
Edit, plan, format and direction of the annual member directory and monthly newsletter.  Review all written materials and meet with the Web Master quarterly to review and insure that items are current.
